We are a Christian faith community with a unique mission and commitment to the students, faculty and staff of the University of Arkansas-Fayetteville. We prayerfully strive to be Christ-like by providing a source of guidance, spiritual growth and awareness of our Roman Catholic identity, a challenge to service and an enthusiastic spirit of worship. We are a sacrament and proclaim God's love with the message of hope, sacrifice, reconciliation and everlasting life. We encourage each other to accept the Eucharist as the Lord's invitation and the center of our lives.

Baptismal/Godparent Preparation

St. Thomas provides preparation for the Sacrament of Baptism for all students, faculty and staff who would like to have their child baptized into the Catholic Faith or have been asked for proof of preparation to serve as a godparent.

For those preparing their child to be baptized...
There are two preparatory sessions. The first will cover the theology of the sacrament, raising your child Catholic and the basics of the baptism rite. There will be a short second meeting in the church to go over the specifics close to the day of baptism.

Those preparing to be godparents...
Need only attend the first session described above.

Baptism Preparation classes will take place the first Sunday of every month at 2:00pm in Laurie's office. You can register by contacting Laurie at stthomascm@yahoo.com or 479-444-0223.
