| We are a Christian faith community with a unique mission and commitment to the students, faculty and staff of the University of Arkansas-Fayetteville. We prayerfully strive to be
Christ-like by providing a source of guidance, spiritual growth and awareness of our
Roman Catholic identity, a challenge to service and an enthusiastic spirit of worship. We are a sacrament and proclaim God's love with the message of hope, sacrifice, reconciliation and everlasting life. We encourage each other to accept the
Eucharist as the Lord's invitation and the center of our lives. |

|
Who are the Knights?
The Knights of Columbus is the world's largest Catholic family fraternal service organization with 1.6 million members. It provides members with volunteer opportunities in service to the Catholic Church and their communities. The Cardinal John Newman Council meets at St. Thomas Aquinas University Parish on the corner of Douglas and Leverett. The Grand Knight for 2007-2008 is Kyle Gallien. You can contact the Knights through Kyle by e-mail at kgallie@uark.edu.
Activities
The Knights have a business meeting on the second Sunday of every month at 6:45pm. On the third Saturday of every month we pray the rosary in front of the clinic in Fayetteville that provides abortions. We meet in the St. Thomas parking lot at 9:00am and carpool over. And every Monday the Knights sponsor the rosary in the church at 5:30pm.
Membership Benefits
As a member of the Knights of Columbus you are part of a large family of fraternal brothers in the Catholic faith. More importantly, this connects you to a great group of college men who through charity and leadership, bring fellowship and support to the campus community. As a member, you enjoy many benefits, including 12 free issues annually of the Columbia magazine, the world's largest Catholic family magazine, eligibility to join the Knights of Columbus top-ranked life insurance program and many more personal benefits.
